For as long as I can remember, dance has always been a part of my life. Family parties, weddings, and especially Christmas dancing were pretty much a required activity. Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Ballroom dancing, Break dancing, and freestyle are some styles not left undanced.
Ballroom and Latin really took my interest about 10 years ago when I joined a College Dance Club. Swing dancing was my major focus. Fast moves and ariel tricks were too much fun! Then I was lucky enough to involve myself with a professional dance studio where I was taught Swing, Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Bolero, Tango, Waltz, foxtrot, and so on and so on. It was not long before I started instructing students and competing on the Professional American Rhythm circuit.
Currently I am still instructing students the sport of Ballroom and Latin Dancing and have had the privledge of competing with them in many ProAm Competitions. I am still competing on the Pro Rhythm Circuit with my amazing Pro partner.
10 years ago, Ballroom and Latin dancing came into my life and I was instantly hooked. Through instructing and competing, I am continuously challenged and entertained. Among keeping me healthy and happy, dancing has had endless benefits.
